Last week I got a text from my birth client, Kristin, saying that she was at the hospital. **Cue the excitement!!** I waited and waited and finally the next day she texted me saying she was 4.5 cm dilated. I went ahead and got some lunch, got my child taken care of, and I headed to the hospital. Things were progressing slowly until I got there (or it could have been the fact that she was 6 cm and things usually pick up then), either way, it was almost baby time!
Kristin is a first time mom and she birthed her daughter so beautifully! She didn't even break a sweat. Okay, maybe a little sweat, but still! Tenley's daddy cut the cord and I *think* he's glad that he did. Go, Daddy! The room was pretty full for Tenley's arrival, but that's to be expected when you deliver during shift change! None the less, this sweet baby was welcomed by many people and two very special people that love her more than anything else! Granparents, aunts, and uncles came in soon after to meet her.
